A great, light mositurizer for a wrinkle cream

Do you guys recall how I was a bit peeved about the heaviness of most anti wrinkle creams available on the market today? Well, I ran across another ingredient that would be great if it were used in one of the best anti wrinkle creams out there!

It is called Hyaluronic Acid, or HA:

HA is an extremely powerful moisturizer, in fact it is considered one of THE foremost powerful moisturizers in nature.

How powerful?

The compound can carry up to 1000 times its own weight in water. What this means in terms of skin care, is that it lasts longer than most moisturizers. When used in an anti wrinkle cream, it actually plumps up the skin. This in turn gets rid of wrinkles for effective wrinkle reduction.

I think I would definitely purchase any anti wrinkle facial cream or an under eye cream that had HA in it.

While of course, no cream will produce surgical results, if you find an anti wrinkle cream with Hyaluronic Acid, not only will you get rid of fine lines, you will moisturize your face.

Now,as we all know, dry skin is an affliction that happens more often as we ladies age.

An anti-wrinkle cream with HA in it would definitely help kill two birds with one glorious stone!

Another Great Ingredient: Palmitoyl Oligopeptide

Ever on the hunt for real, proven ingredients that reduce wrinkles, I located an agent called Palmitoyl Oligopeptide.

I call it PO for short ( for clarity — most people are gonna look at that word and go Pal-whooziwhata, so lets just give the long named agents initials shall we…)

Anyway, the great thing about PO is that it has been scientifically proven to create collagen production and stimulate the growth of the deep connective tissues of the skin.

This would be especially important in an anti wrinkle cream.

Why?

Because collagen, elastin and glucosamnoglycans (GAGs) are essential components in the creation of skin resiliency, making the skin more youthful in appearance.

This can translate in the reduction of winkles,

If you want to find one of the best anti wrinkle creams around then look to see if the cream has Palmitoyl Oligopeptide in it.

If need be write the ingredient down – I also encourage you to do some research on your own.

That said, I still find I am having a hard time locating something that truly gets rid of wrinkles. I got a sample of a few creams when I was at the mall the other day and while some of the smelled nice, I didn't like the way they felt on my face.

What is it about anti wrinkle creams, why are they so -- so heavy and oily? Can't they make them a little more, oh, I dunno—face friendly?

A New, Proven Ingredient That Works!

Now that we have spent quite some time going over ingredients that don't work, I finally stumbled upon a few that do, and not a moment too soon! My friends and I were just about to toss our hands up in the air in frustration.

Seriously, it seemed as if all four of us were running up against a brick wall in regards to our search for the best wrinkle cream available today.

Luckily, I remember reading about an agent called Acetyl Hexapeptide-3, and decided to see if it was currently being used in an anti-wrinkle cream.

I found several products that did have it, which made me very happy—we will discuss some of those in the weeks to come.

Why does the fact that Acetyl Hexapeptide-3 is used in some of the best wrinkle creams excite me? Because this ingredient has been compared to Botox in that it can reduce and get rid of wrinkles, yet, it isn't as harsh nor does it have debilitating potential side effects.

Acetyl Hexapeptide works instantly to helps relax the facial muscles, which can reduce wrinkles and prevent new ones from forming.

It has also been clinically proven to work.

You see, patience is a virtue, and by being patient, I was finally able to find a quality ingredient for an anti wrinkle cream. Hopefully, this will start something of a small snowball effect, where I will find many more facial creams.

We shall soon see…
